Calendar Art

For the last week the school has been producing calendar art. We had a choice out of three. They where the pattern tree, jandals or the pastel tree. I chose the pastel tree because I like pastels and I loved the idea with the colours. First I had to draw the tree in pencil. Then we thickened the lines up with the pencil. After that we went over it with Vivid . Finally we had to do the pastel and smudge colours together, but you only need to put the pastel around the outside also SMUDGE THE WARM COLOURS FIRST.

    You make drawing seem so much fun haha. I've never really did anything with pastels,maybe in kindergarten but i don't remember drawing anything so great like this ! I'm from san diego check out our class blog www.flags8.org
